ATIP02.006 : Bio-Molecular Motors Research in Japan
ABSTRACT: Much of the recent work on nanomachines in Japan is focused on the understanding of fundamental mechanisms of biological molecular motors. Significant advances have been made during the last few years and we now better understand how these devices work. Japanese researchers have contributed heavily to these discoveries. This report surveys the key Japanese research labs and their accomplishments.
